The Prairie Creek Inn is a very special bed and breakfast inn. Touted as "the best place to stay in Central Alberta", you will truly feel pampered in the spacious well-appointed 4.5 star accommodations at The Prairie Creek Inn which include an executive guest cottage and two luxury suites in the main Inn. Each is uniquely decorated with down duvets and luxury linens and features a number of “special touches” such as cozy bathrobes and throws, candles, and attractive accessories. Both of the suites are self-contained with a private entrance off the large outdoor deck and the cottage is only a short stroll from the Inn.

While Creekside Cottage is a new building, The Prairie Creek Inn is the result of a luxury barn conversion, a popular housing icon in country sides throughout Canada. Terri and Larry Cameron recognized the unique opportunity the original building created, and have imaginatively and lovingly renovated the entire structure to become a special bed and breakfast inn full of charm, warmth and history.

 Romance lovers will adore our warm, cozy and very luscious Stables Suite. Named after the horses that roamed this property, this beautiful room features a king size canopy bed with a double soaker tub next to it, a fireplace,a large bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, big windows overlooking the property and much more for that perfect romantic getaway.  This romantic and beautifully decorated suite will take you back in time when David Thompson, one of the world’s greatest geographers, explored a new path through the Rockies just west of Rocky Mountain House. Our Explorers Suite features a queen size log bed, fireplace, Canadiana antiques, Hudson’s Bay blankets and a large ensuite with a unique granite vessel sink and large double soaker tub that you will enjoy after your day exploring a life of luxury.  If you’ve ever dreamed of wrapping yourself in total luxury in a secluded, cozy cottage in the middle of nature, then Creekside Cottage is for you. This lovely executive guest cottage is just steps from Prairie Creek and only a short stroll from the main Inn. It is richly decorated with warm western décor, antiques and designer details and features two bedrooms that sleep up to four people, a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a gas barbeque, a soaker tub and a large covered front deck with Adirondack chairs.  All guests have full access to the Heartstone room, the Inn's 638 square foot great room that features a cozy breakfast service area complete with a huge harvest table, a guest washroom and access to the Inn's large outdoor deck. This spacious common room doubles as an elegant meeting room where intimate gatherings of up to 24 people are conducted. The room is ideal for small weddings, anniversaries, business meetings, parties and a myriad of events where privacy, beautiful natural surroundings and a casually elegant ambiance is desired.

West Country Suite

 

This outstanding 500 square feet suite is our largest luxury romance room with a king size four poster bed, in-room double Whirlpool bathtub, large steam shower, double vanity with vessel sinks, fieldstone gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings and a large private balcony with a view of the creek.

Home on the Range Suite

 

Shower lovers will adore the large walk-in double shower in this lovely suite. It features a king size bed, double vanity with granite vessel sinks, fieldstone gas fireplace and a private deck. (Note: There is no bathtub in this suite.)

Canadiana Suite

 

Decorated in true Canadiana style, this bright, lovely room has a queen bed, fireplace, single soaker tub and a private balcony with a view of the creek.

Brown Trout Suite

 

This deluxe ground level suite is inspired by the main habitants of Prairie Creek. It features a king size half canopy bed, double soaker tub, large walk-in shower, gas fireplace and private walk-out patio.

Woodlands Suite

  

Immerse yourself in nature in this deluxe queen suite with a double soaker tub, separate corner shower, gas fireplace and private walk-out patio.

Golden Meadows Suite

 

Inspired by the rolling meadows of Alberta’s landscape, this warm and luscious room features a king size bed, double corner soaker tub with separate shower, gas fireplace and private walk-out patio.

Robin's Nest Suite

  

This dramatic junior suite on the walk out level will wow you with its half canopy queen bed, gas fireplace, single soaker tub and private walk out patio.
